Day 11
Day 11
7/16/2019
We woke up really early and started to pack up our tents.
Before we left our campsite we picked up our tents.
Before we left my team the Red Raccoons picked up are trail
cams. We checked them when we got back to our camp site we actually caught a
lot of deer and turkey vultures! It was so neat to see to footage. Head headed out about 8:30am. We drove about a
few us to visit Wineman Forest & Crater Lake.
Crater Lake was such a beautiful spot to visit. It is the
deepest lake in the United States! You can see the volcano in the middle of the
lake. It looked like a small island. The water surrounding the volcano was
really blue.
We also did a small hike it was about 3.5 miles going up and
coming back down. The hike was called the Watchman Lookout. Going up this hike gave you an ever better
view of Crater Lake.
After our hike we headed to the gift shop to get a few items
to remind us of our visit at crater lake.
We uploaded the van and we headed to our new campsite. This
campsite is a bit different, It has running water! Which means there is toilets
and showers. Everyone was so excited as was I!
